So it's 3am, January 1st 2013.
For some reason I just cannot sleep (maybe all that chocolate I stuffed in my face tonight has something to do with it!). I've been excited all week about the beginning of 2013 coming, because I have so many things planned for this year.
The most exciting thing (and you are all going to think I've completely lost it), is my new "Clean Eating" program. I've been collecting recipes and ingredients for a few weeks now. Planning meals and figuring out how to balance it all so I'm getting the right nutrients...
(hmmm thinkin I sound like a bit of a nerd right now)!
I was truly excited when I realised that clean eating does not mean I can't have treats, it does mean that my treats are home baked, but I usually do that anyways so no difference there.
To celebrate the end of my bad eating habits, I ate a bunch of chocolate. hahaha. My crazy way of saying ta ta bad diet.
When I wake up the clean eating program starts...is it weird that I'm so excited about it...lol
I put on 10 kilos in 2012, (I'm closing my eyes as I type that).
While everything is not about appearance and being skinny....I need to lose it. I don't feel like me at the moment, I feel bloated, tired and crappy. I worry about diabetes and heart attacks. I don't want to feel like that this year. I want to feel good, I want to have some energy and I want to feel comfortable in my skin. I want to buy the clothes that I love, not the clothes that fit me. I want to feel fit.....I do remember that it felt good!
So here's the deal....each Monday I'm going to post my weeks eating plan, and my photo for that week (which is scary to me....I don't do body shots, have you ever seen one of me on this blog????)
I'll post the recipes to the meals that I'm making and let you know what I'm doing to get in shape.
