If I was a Boy....

I was over at Living in Yellow the other day (as I am most days) and Erin mentioned a post theme that she and Gay from A Girl Named Gay wanted everyone to get involved in, so I thought, what the hay, I'll link up! Sounds fun!

**Disclaimer - To the men folk in my life, please don't get offended. You know I love ya, but ya also know you can be huge morons and big 'ole babies sometimes.

If I was a boy.....

I probably wouldn't learn how to cook, b'cos I know that my girlfriend, sisters or mum will feed me if I give them puppy dog eyes and tell them I'm hungry.
(sadly this is true)

I would lift heavier furniture because I have bigger muscles

I would only wake up 5 minutes before I had to go anywhere b'cos I wouldn't have to put on make-up or do my hair, a cap is all I need

I would do whatever DIY project the ladies in my life asked of me, because I understand that they can do it, but they want me to feel needed

I wouldn't bathe in cologne

I would be really happy that I don't have to deal with "Aunt Flo", Childbirth, Breastfeeding or anything of those other "women" things

I would be in awe of the women in my life who do have to deal with "Aunt Flo", Childbirth, Breastfeeding or anything of those other "women" things

I would get "man-flu" and take a week off from life

I would finally admit to my sister that having super hero figurines is exactly the same as having ornaments that need dusting (my brother has a no ornaments rule in his house!)

I would enjoy just doing one thing at a time .... not like those multi tasking women.

I wouldn't call my sisters "emotional idiots" because they're women

Buy clothes (mens clothes are cheaper 'cos they don't have to make room for boobies I guess)

I would NEVER grow up, because I know that ultimately....the women around me are already far more advanced than I could ever hope to be


Out of interest I also asked 11yo Monkey what she would do
....this is what she says...

Monkey says she would go skateboarding and do stupid dangerous stuff b'cos girls don't do those things b'cos they don't wanna die

She would have showers (because boys are smelly)

Play the sports that boys won't let girls play.

Oh so young and yet so wise already!

Honestly how many of us gals has not wished for this at some point, b'cos lets face it....seems the male gender of our species seems to get the better end of the deal .... especially at a certain time of the month?? 

For me that wish lasts for about a millisecond because I think women rock. We can grow other human beings inside our bodies people....bring me a man who can do that! 

WHAT WOULD YOU DO??
